Born in 1892 in Moscow; Russian; higher education; no n. Participated in the White movement. In the early 1920s he was in exile, first in Yugoslavia, then in Berlin. In 1923 he returned to the USSR. Writer, member of the Union of Soviet Writers. Lived in Moscow, Staraya Bashilovka St., Bldg. 8, Apt. 15. Arrested on 26.04.1938. Sentenced on 01.09.1938 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on charges of participating in an anti-Soviet terrorist organization to capital punishment. Shot on 01.09.1938 in Moscow, burial place - Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR in June 1956.
