Born in 1929 in Moscow. After the arrest of his father and mother, he lived at M. Gorky's dacha, then was exiled to various orphanages in Siberia. In 1945, he entered the history department of Leningrad State University. Arrested in 1950. Sentenced to 10 years in the camps. Released and rehabilitated in 1956. Graduated from Leningrad State University in 1958. Worked in rural schools in the Novosibirsk Region, then at the Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute, and became a candidate of historical sciences in 1972. He died on 29.03.1994.
