Medical examination report of the corpse, July 27, 1942.

Based on order No. 0454(?) and the order of the head of prison No. 3 of the NKVD NSO, State Security Lieutenant Comrade Bozhok, I, doctor [Pe]chenkina, in the presence of the DPN Comrade Grebnev, carried out an external examination of the body of Tatyana Dmitrievna Litvinova, born in 1886, who died in the prison hospital.

The corpse is female, of medium height, of regular build, and severely emaciated. Rigor mortis has set in. The skin of the illegible parts is pale, the skin of the lips is pale, and the mucous membranes of the lips are illegible.

The neck is short, the integuments are [illegible] pale, without damage. The rib cage is cylindrical, the ribs are sharply protruding. The abdomen is drawn in, the integuments are [illegible] pale, without damage. The [external genital] organs are without damage. The openings of the nose, ears and [anus] are free of foreign objects. The skin of the upper and lower extremities is pale, the bones are [undamaged]. No other changes were found during examination of the corpse.

Based on the above and the medical history No. [inaudible] , the death of prisoner Litvinova was natural and resulted from pellagra.

Report of the external medical examination of the body of prisoner Rudolf Andreevich Shpigel, born in 1903, who died in the prison hospital. The cause of death was diarrhea and exhaustion. The examination was performed by prison physician Pechenkina in the presence of prison DPN Grebnev.

Based on Order No. 0157 and the order of the Chief of Prison No. 3 of the Novosibirsk Regional Directorate of the NKVD, State Security Lieutenant BOZHOK, I, a doctor at the Pechenkina prison, in the presence of Comrade GREBNEV, the prison's DPN, conducted an external examination of the body of prisoner Rudolf Andreevich Shpigel, born in 1903, who died in the prison hospital.

The body is a male, of medium height, of regular build, with severe emaciation. Rigor mortis has set in. The scalp is markedly pale, as is the facial skin. The mucous membranes of the lips are pale. The mouth is closed, the tongue is behind the teeth. The neck is long, the skin on it is pale, without damage. The ribcage is cylindrical, the ribs are sharply protruding. The abdomen is sunken, the skin on it is pale. The genitals are unremarkable. The nasal, ear, and anal openings are free of foreign objects. The skin of the upper and lower extremities is pale, without damage. The bones are without [illegible] damage.

No other changes were detected during the external examination of the body. Based on the above and case history No. 1578-60, prisoner Shpigel's death was natural and resulted from diarrhea and exhaustion.

Based on order No. 0457 of the head of prison No. 3 of the NKVD Directorate, State Security Lieutenant Comrade Bozhok, I, doctor Pechenkina, in the presence of the DPN Comrade Grebnev, conducted an external examination of the body of prisoner Petr Vasilyevich Vasiliev, born in 1902, who died in the prison hospital.

The body is a male, of regular build, of medium height, with [illegible] emaciation. Rigor mortis has set in. The scalp is pale, the facial skin is pale, and the mucous membranes of the lips are bluish. The neck is long, and the skin on it (illegible) is undamaged. The ribcage is cylindrical, with protruding ribs. The abdomen is drawn in, and the skin on it is pale. The genitals are unremarkable. The nasal, ear, and anal openings are free of foreign objects. The skin of the upper and lower extremities is edematous and pale, the limbs (?) are undamaged.

No other changes were detected during the external examination of the body. Based on the above and the medical history No. [inaudible], the death of prisoner P. V. Vasiliev was natural and resulted from pulmonary tuberculosis.
