Born in 1895 in the village of Dar-Nadezhda, Konstantinograd district, Poltava province; Ukrainian; incomplete higher education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1918-1933. Writer, poet, editor of the magazine "Chervony Shlyakh". Lived in Kharkov, Krasnogo Pisatelya Street, Building 5, Apt. 17. Arrested on May 11, 1933 in the case of the "Ukrainian military organization". Sentenced on September 29, 1933 by a judicial troika of the Collegium of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR under Article 54-4-6-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years' imprisonment. Imprisoned in Solovki. Sentenced on October 9, 1937 by a Special Troika of the NKVD Directorate of the Leningrad Region to capital punishment. Shot on November 3, 1937, in Sandarmokh   Karelian ASSR.  

Rehabilitated on June 19, 1957.
