Born in 1896 in Kologriv; Jewish; son of a craftsman; elementary education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1918. In the Cheka-OGPU-NKVD since 1927, captain of state security From 08.12.1935. On 20.12.1932 - operational secretary of the SPO OGPU USSR, from 21.04.1935 - head. of the 12th department of the SPO GUGB NKVD USSR, on 04.12.1936 seconded to the NKVD of the BSSR, on 11.01.1937 seconded to the OK NKVD USSR, from 02.04.1937 - assistant. head. of the 4th department of the UGB UNKVD for the Saratov region. On 20.03.1938 he was discharged into the reserve. From 15.04.1938 - head. of the department for combating the embezzlement of socialist property and speculation (OBKhSS) of the URCM UNKVD for the Saratov region. Lived in Saratov, st. Radishchevskaya, 23, apt. 12. Arrested on November 25, 1938. Sentenced On June 15, 1939, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR sentenced him to capital punishment on charges of participating in a counter- revolutionary terrorist organization. He was executed on June 17, 1939, in Moscow; burial place: Donskoye Cemetery. He was rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on January 21, 1958.
