Born in 1897 in Kharkov; Russian; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1917. In the Cheka-OGPU-NKVD since 1920. On 20.12.1932 - head of the SPO OGPU, until 11.12.1936 People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the BSSR BSSR, from 11.12.1936 concurrently - head of the OO GUGB of the Belorussian Military District, on 03.02.1937 - People's Commissar of Internal Affairs of the BSSR. On 03.02.1937 he was removed from office due to being brought to trial. And he was arrested on 03.02.1937 in Minsk. He was held in Lubyanka prison. Sentenced on 09.10.1937 by the Military Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR to capital punishment. He was executed on October 9, 1937, in Moscow and buried in Kommunarka. He was rehabilitated by the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation on January 31, 1996.
