Pole, son of the captain. Since 1928 he worked in the organs of the OGPU. Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1931. On May 12, 1943, he headed the investigative unit for particularly important cases of the NKGB (MGB) of the USSR. 03/18/1953 appointed head of the investigative unit for particularly important cases of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. One of the most odious investigators of the NKVD, who widely used methods of physical coercion and direct murder (Ambassador to China Bovkun, etc.). Almost all matters regarding the party, military and economic leadership went through Wlodzimirsky. In the summer of 1953 he was arrested as a “member of Beria’s gang.” Together with L.P. Beria and others, he was convicted by the Special Judicial Presence of the Supreme Court of the USSR and sentenced to death on December 23, 1953. Shot on the same day.
