Soviet political and party leader
Born 02/13/1890 in the village of Verkhne-Ryutino, Irkutsk province; Russian; Secondary education, graduated from the Irkutsk Teachers' Seminary in 1908. In the revolutionary movement since 1912, member of the RSDLP. During the First World War, he graduated from the Irkutsk school of warrant officers and served in Harbin. In 1918-1919, commander of the troops of the Irkutsk Military District. From 1920 on party work in Siberia. From January 1923 to February 1924, executive secretary of the Dagestan regional committee of the RCP (b). In March 1924 he was transferred to Moscow to the position of head of the propaganda department of the Moscow Committee and secretary of the Krasnopresnensky district party committee. In 1928-1930, deputy editor of the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper. In 1930, member of the Presidium of the Supreme Economic Council. In the fall of 1930, by decision of the Central Control Commission, he was expelled from the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks “for treacherous, double-dealing behavior and an attempt at underground propaganda of right-wing opportunist views.” On November 13, 1930, he was arrested on charges of counter-revolutionary agitation and spent several months in Butyrka prison. 01/17/1931 Acquitted by a special meeting of the Kogpu. After his release, he worked as an economist at the Soyuzelectro enterprise. Lived in Moscow (Gruzinsky Val str., 26, apt. 195). Arrested 09/22/1932. Sentenced to the Kogpu USSR on October 11, 1932 on charges of participation in the revolutionary revolution. right-wing organizations to 10 years in prison. He was kept in the Suzdal special prison. Transferred to Moscow on September 27, 1936. Sentenced by the USSR All-Russian Military Commission on January 10, 1937 to military service. Shot on January 10, 1937. Burial place: Moscow, Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated on June 13, 1988 by the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
