Sentenced by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on May 29, 1940 under Art. 58-7 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years in prison with loss of voting rights for 5 years, with confiscation of property. By a ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on December 18, 1954, the sentence was overturned, the case was dismissed, and he was released from exile (the village of Predivnaya Verf, Krasnoyarsk region). He returned from exile to Nikolaev and retired in 1964.
