Genus. in 1898 in Pinsk, Russian, b/p., higher education, lived on V.O., 10th line, no. 25, apt. 8. Arrested on January 31, 1946 by the UNKGB LO. Accused of crimes under Art. 58-3, 58-10 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. According to post. Military Tribunal of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs troops of the Leningrad Region. dated April 23, 1946, sentenced to 10 years in prison with loss of political rights for 3 years, with a criminal record. Def. The Military Tribunal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Leningrad Region charged him under Art. 58-3 of the Criminal Code was excluded from the verdict, but otherwise the verdict was upheld. On August 19, 1955, the verdict was overturned and the case was dismissed. Died in 1955.

Memoirs of Corman A.G. about Zhuravsky A.M., recorded from the words of Korman A.G. in August 1993 with an attachment in the form of a copy of the certificate of the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces No. 2/3-01002/49 dated 04/01/1959 on the rehabilitation of A.G. Korman. Resolution dated March 18, 1949.
The author is an engineer-captain of the 2nd rank, during the Great Patriotic War he served at the Artillery Research Maritime Institute (ANIMI), arrested on September 2, 1948 on suspicion of committing crimes under Article 58-1, paragraph “b” and 58 -10 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Released in 1953 (after Stalin's death).
The author recalls his acquaintance and joint scientific work with Andrei Mitrofanovich Zhuravsky.
We met at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Leningrad State University, where Zhuravsky gave a course of lectures on probability theory. Further joint work with Zhuravsky (who at that time was already imprisoned in OKB-172) in the period 1943-47. over mathematical calculations when firing from automatic artillery installations.
The author's trip to Vladivostok, denunciation of him by a business traveler who lived with him in the hotel. Author's arrest in September 1948 in Leningrad, false accusation of recruitment by American intelligence. Sentence: 5 years in camps. After the verdict came into force - a camp at a meat processing plant. Transfer to Kresty prison, work at OKB-172. Meeting with Zhuravsky, who already worked there. Structure of OKB-172, daily routine, life, conditions of detention. Zhuravsky’s behavior is his will, fortitude, which served as an example and supported his comrades in misfortune. In February 1952, after the end of his prison term, Zhuravsky was exiled to the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the city of Syktyvkar.
