Genus. in 1883 (1887) in the village of Golenka, Poltava province; Jew; from the bourgeoisie; member of the RSDLP(M) since 1905; Secretary of the Main Committee of the RSDLP of Ukraine (1921); member of the Bureau of the Central Committee. In 1920 he lived in Kharkov: arrested on August 15, 1920; sentenced on December 11, 1920 to exile in Georgia; returned to Ukraine illegally. In 1922 he lived in Kharkov; worked as head of the publishing department of Vukopspilka; arrested 03/15/1922; was kept in Kharkov prison; on the basis of the resolution of the Presidium of the GPU of the RSFSR dated April 4, 1922, he was exiled to Turkestan under the public supervision of the GPU authorities for 1 year; escaped while being transported from Tashkent to Aulie-Ata on August 29, 1922. Lived in Moscow; arrested (according to some sources - through search measures taken, according to others - accidentally identified by an OGPU employee on the street) 10/08/1922; sentenced by the NKVD Commission on Administrative Expulsions on January 5, 1923 to 1 year of imprisonment in a concentration camp (Pertominsk, Solovki); At the end of his term, he was sentenced to 3 years of exile in Aktyubinsk. In the early 1930s he served his “minus” in Ulyanovsk. In 1938 he lived in Simferopol; sentenced to 8 years in labor camp. Rehabilitated on November 18, 1991. After rehabilitation he lived in Saratov. He died in 1976. In case 1922, he was rehabilitated by the prosecutor's office of the Kharkov region on 03/05/1997.
