In 1924 he lived in Rostov-on-Don, worked as the head of the library; arrested on 04/05/1924 by the OGPU PP in the South-East of Russia, accused of being a member of the Zionist Socialist Party and being associated with the Mensheviks; sentenced to the OS at the KOGPU on May 23, 1924 under Art. 62, 68 and 72 to 3 years in a concentration camp; by the decision of the OS under the KOGPU of 07/04/1924, to change the previous sentence, he was sent to Palestine through one of the southern ports at his own expense. Rehabilitated by the Prosecutor's Office of the Rostov Region on 06/23/1993.
