Genus. 1926 in Leningrad. After her father’s arrest in 1938, she was exiled with her mother and brother to Uzbekistan (Ursatievskaya village, Syrdarya region). In 1940 the exile was canceled; at the beginning of 1941 she returned to Leningrad with her mother and brother. During the blockade, she completed short-term nursing courses, and in April 1942 she was evacuated with her mother and brother from Leningrad to Cherkessk. During the occupation of Cherkessk at the end of 1942, she was taken to forced labor in Germany (her mother and brother were also sent to forced labor, the family was divided), and was in Nuremberg. In 1945 she was liberated by American troops and married an American officer. Lives in the USA (as of 2010).
