Genus. in 1910 in Orel. Volunteered for the front. In August 1941 he went missing. At the front near Leningrad, finding himself surrounded by the enemy, he gathered a group of soldiers and commanders and acted with it behind enemy lines for more than a month. When he and a handful of soldiers made their way through the front line to reach their own, on September 14, 1941, in the Chudovo area, he was captured. Kept in Camps Stalag 336, Stalag IV H (304), Hasselt Camp number 36741. Tried to escape twice. He began to gather a group of underground workers in camp 304-1V-H, near Leipzig, but a month later he was sent to Belgium. He headed the "Russian Partisan Battalion" in Belgium, which was part of the 3rd Brussels Corps of the Belgian Partisan Army. In 1985 he was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree.
