On October 20, 1961, the people's court of the Stalin district of Krasnoyarsk convicted under Art. 218 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 2 years in prison. In conclusion, on April 20, 1962, he was brought to criminal responsibility by the KGB in the Leningrad Region. He was accused of slandering the Soviet government, the CPSU and its leaders, the state and social system, conducting anti-Soviet agitation, and that, together with Umansky A.A. wrote an anti-Soviet manuscript that slandered the Soviet system. Sentenced by the Leningrad City Court on May 23-25, 1962 to 5 years in a high-security penal colony. Sent to ITL r. Yavas village, Zubovo-Polyansky district, Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Rehabilitated on June 24, 1993.
