Lived in Moscow, Khudozhestvenny Teatr proezd, 2, apt. 42. Arrested on 30.01.1937. Sentenced to capital punishment by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 15 July 1937 on charges of participating in an anti-Soviet Trotskyist terrorist organization and expressing an intent to kill Stalin. Shot on 16 July 1937 in Moscow, burial place - Donskoye Cemetery. Rehabilitated by the Military Commission of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 12 March 1957.
