Genus. in 1884 (1885? 1889?) in Lugansk, Yekaterinoslav province; Jew; secondary education: completed 5 classes of higher gymnasium; pharmacist by profession. Social Democrat since 1903, Menshevik. From 1917 he worked in Petrograd; member of the Provisional Military Committee at the Bureau of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee during the struggle against the offensive of General Kornilov. In 1920 he lived in Petrograd, was in charge of a professional pharmaceutical school; arrested 06/30/1920; sentenced by the Presidium of PetroChK on 11/23/1920 to imprisonment in a camp until further notice; released 01/06/1921. In April 1921 he was arrested in Petrograd, imprisoned in the Peter and Paul Fortress; in 1922 he participated in a hunger strike; sentenced in May 1922 on charges of participating in the preparation of the Kronstadt uprising to 1 year of exile in Vologda. In June 1923 he was arrested at the railway station in Moscow; sentenced for harboring an exiled wife to 1 year SLON. In 1924 he was sentenced to exile in Kolpashevo, Narym Territory. He died of pleurisy in Kolpashevo on 03/09/1924.
