Lipin Stepan Nikolaevich
Born in 1898 (according to other sources, 04/02/1897) in the village. Klepachikha (Klepechikha, Klepechikhinskoe) Zmeinogorsky district. Tomsk province; Russian, from peasant background, secondary education. He graduated from the teachers' seminary in Novonikolaevsk. Graduated from the Irkutsk Military School (1917), ensign. Served in the white troops of the Eastern Front; at the end of 1918, a junior officer of the 17th Semipalatinsk Siberian Rifle Regiment, an officer in the detachments of Ataman Annenkov. A self-taught artist, he occasionally studied at the Krasnoyarsk drawing school and at the Turkestan art workshops. From the beginning of the 1920s he lived in Novosibirsk (address before arrest: Zakamenskaya Sq., Kuzbassugol building No. 4, apt. 7). One of the organizers of the artists' society "New Siberia" (since 1926), member of the cooperative partnership "Artist" (1930). Participant of Siberian and All-Union arts. exhibitions He worked as a teacher of drawing and drawing, before his arrest as an artist at the gas editorial office. "Soviet Siberia". Arrested on 02/01/1933 on charges of belonging to a “k/r insurgent organization in the West Siberian Territory.” Sentenced by resolutions of the OGPU Collegium of 08/05/1933 and 08/27/1933 under Art. 58-2, 11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to execution, replaced by 10 years in labor camp. Imprisoned in the Solovetsky camp. Sentenced by a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated November 25, 1937 to VMN. Shot on December 8, 1937 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated on July 29, 1958 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
