Genus. 04/22/1911 in St. Petersburg. Education - secondary school, external studies at the Herzen Pedagogical Institute, historian. Non-partisan, member of the trade union "University and Research Institute" since 1932. Worked as a card indexer at the Leningrad Book Center in 1930-1931. From 03/01/1931 - junior researcher at the Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Lived in Leningrad, Kuznechny lane, 14 b, apt. 59. Arrested 12/15/1938. Convicted by the Leningrad Regional Court on September 21, 1938 under Art. 58-10 part I to 7 years of ITL, with loss of rights for 3 years. By the ruling of the Judicial Collegium for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR dated November 22, 1938, the cassation appeal against the verdict was left unsatisfied. He was held in the Kargopol penal colony from 12/15/1937 to 12/15/1944. After serving his sentence, he was left in a free labor camp.
Rehabilitated by the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the RSFSR on January 18, 1957.
