Sudoplatov Pavel Anatolievich

Definition: Soviet intelligence officer, employee of the OGPU (later NKVD - NKGB), lieutenant general of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs (as of 1953). In 1953 he was sentenced to 15 years in labor camp. Eliminated OUN leader E.M. Konovalets, organizer of the murder of L.D. Trotsky. Author of memoirs “Intelligence and the Kremlin”, “Special Operations. Lubyanka and the Kremlin 1930-1950."
