Treasurer Mikhail Semenovich

Born November 20, 1905 in the village of Raevskoye, Brusovsky District, Kalinin Region; Russian; higher education - graduated from the Engineering and Economics Institute in Leningrad in 1929; candidate for membership in the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1931-1936 ( expelled for concealing his social origin). From 1931, he worked as deputy head of the planning department of Kalinin Plant No. 4. Arrested on August 19, 1937. Sentenced on February 27, 1938 by the Visiting Session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad under Articles 58-7, 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR for "participation in a Trotskyist sabotage and wrecking organization" to 15 years in a correctional labor camp . He died in custody on 15.02.1943, burial place - cemetery of the camp in the village of Stan Utiny, Yagodninsky district, Magadan region. Rehabilitated by the Military Commission of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 05.10.1957.

On February 27, 2022, a personal memorial sign was installed at house No. 15 on Srednyaya Podyacheskaya Street in St. Petersburg in memory of M.S. Kaznacheev as part of the Last Address project.
