Born in 1901 in Pavlograd; Jewish; from the bourgeoisie; before his arrest, he was a candidate for membership in the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks); graduated from the Kharkov Technological Institute. He worked as the chief engineer of Plant No. 4 named after Kalinin. Lived in Leningrad, 2 Dobrolyubov Ave., Apt. 33. Arrested on 7 July 1937. Sentenced by the Visiting Session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad on 26 February 1938 under Article 58-7-8-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. He was executed in Leningrad on 27 February 1938.
