Born in 1877 in Nizhny Novgorod; Russian; from the nobility; no military registration; graduated from the Mikhailovskaya Artillery Academy in 1905. Colonel of the Russian Army. Until 1917, head of the workshop of the Sestroretsk arms factory, head and technical director of the Sestroretsk plant named after Voskov until 1924, head of the technical production department of plant No. 4 named after Kalinin. Lived in Leningrad, Karl Liebknecht Ave., bldg. 65, apt. 14. Arrested on 11.07.1929 as a "participant in a sabotage organization in the military industry". Sentenced by the OGPU Collegium on 23.02.1930 under Art. Art. 58-2-4-7-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 10 years' imprisonment. On March 18, 1933, the OGPU Collegium conditionally released him and assigned him to work at Soyuzverf. He was arrested again on March 20, 1935. On March 31, 1935, the Special Conference of the NKVD of the USSR sentenced him to exile to the city of Kuibyshev.
