Grundman Roman Romanovich
Born in 1889 in Peterhof; German; from the civil servants; higher education - graduated from the Naval Engineering School in Kronstadt in 1913; no p. In 1917 - Chairman of Tsentrobalt. In 1923-1924 - Head of the Dzerzhinsky Naval Engineering School (VMIU). In February 1931, he was arrested in connection with the "Spring" case. Sentenced to 5 years in a labor camp. Released at the end of 1931, reinstated in the Armed Forces. In 1938 - Head of the Planning and Production Department of the Kronstadt Marine Plant, military engineer of the 1st rank. Lived in Kronstadt, Kommunisticheskaya St., Bldg. 5, Apt. 23. Arrested on 03.03.1938, accused of participating in a counter-revolutionary officer organization and espionage . Sentenced to capital punishment by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 06.07.1941 . Executed on 27.07.1941 in Moscow. Burial place - Kommunarka. Rehabilitated by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in August 1960.
