Fridman Grigory Moiseevich
Director of the Leningrad Institute of Health, Head of the Department of Social Hygiene of the 3rd Medical Institute
Born in 1899 in the town of Rogachev, Novograd-Volynsky district, Volyn province; Jewish; graduated from the Military Medical Academy; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1920-1937. Head of the Department of Social Hygiene at the 3rd Medical Institute and director of the Leningrad Institute of Health. Lived in Leningrad, Lesnoy Ave., bldg. 13/8, apt. 86. Arrested on 27 August 1937. Sentenced by the Visiting Session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad on 17 February 1938 under Article 58-7-8-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to capital punishment. Shot in Leningrad on 17 February 1938.
