Born on March 20, 1904 in Novo-Nikolaevsk. At the age of 14, he began working as a worker at Turkin's mill. After the liberation of Siberia from Kolchak, he studied at the Tomsk workers' faculty for two years. Then, until 1927, he worked as a clerk at the Novo-Nikolaevsk (Novosibirsk) Cheka and as a political controller for the plenipotentiary representative of the OGPU in the West Siberian Territory. Member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1927. In 1932, he became an authorized representative of the special department of the Transbaikal Group of Forces in Chita, and also served in Irkutsk as commandant of the NKVD Directorate for the East Siberian Territory.

At the height of mass repressions, he was the head of the prison of the NKVD Directorate for Novosibirsk Oblast, through which thousands of so-called "enemies of the people" passed. In 1937, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star, and a year later, having received the rank of lieutenant of State Security, he became the head of the prison department of the NKVD Directorate for Novosibirsk Oblast. From this position, he was transferred to work in the newly formed Tomsk Oblast. Colonel of State Security.

Here he became involved in unseemly affairs that became the subject of investigation in local and Moscow party bodies, after which, at the end of 1946, he was removed from his post, and on February 5, 1947, by a resolution of the bureau of the Tomsk regional party committee, he was expelled from its ranks “for abuse of office, theft of socialist property, as morally and politically corrupt.”


As of November 1939: Head of the Prison Department of the NKVD for the Novosibirsk Region, Lieutenant of State Security.

August 1944 – December 1946 – Chief of the NKVD Directorate for Tomsk Oblast, Lieutenant Colonel, then – State Security Colonel.

Participated in numerous executions.

I, Deputy Head of the NKVD Department of the Pudinsky District of Tomsk Region, have reviewed the [personal??] file of the special settler Valentina Trofimovna Demidova, year, month and date of birth 1929, with regard to his release from special exile

FOUND:

Special settler Demidova Valentina Trofimovna was deported in March 1930 from the village of Klyavinsky, Kuibyshevsky district, Novosibirsk region (territory) in the family of her father (mother) Demidov Trofim Kondratyevich.

At the time of the eviction of the special settler Valentina Trofimovna Demidova to the special settlement, she was 1 year _____ months old.

During her time in special exile, Valentina Trofimovna Demidova did not discredit herself in any way.

There are no compromising materials on him. Therefore, based on the above and guided by the Resolution of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR No. 1143-280s of 22/10/1938 and the explanation of the NKVD of the USSR No. 9 of 8/1/1940.
