Genus. in 1889 in the village of Astrakhanka, Taurida province; Jew; incomplete secondary education; member of the RSDLP(M) since 1905; in 1911–1913 he was in exile for participating in the labor movement. In 1923 he lived in Nizhny Novgorod, worked as a typesetter at Nizhpoligraf. Arrested and sentenced on May 11, 1923 to exile in Krasnokokshaisk (Mari region) for 1 year with deprivation of the right to reside in 6 settlements (according to other sources, sentenced for belonging to the Mensheviks to 3 years in a concentration camp). In 1926 he lived in Nizhny Novgorod, worked as a typesetter at Nizhpoligraf. Arrested 03/18/1926; sentenced by the OS at the Kogpu on 05/07/1926 under Art. 94 of the Criminal Code for deportation to Kazakhstan for 3 years; the term was reduced by the Kogpu on December 13, 1927 by one third. 04/20/1928 sentenced by the OS KOGPU to deprivation of the right to reside in 6 localities with attachment to a specific place of residence for 3 years; by decision of the OS dated July 23, 1931, as a change to the previous resolution, he was exiled to the Urals for 3 years. In 1931, the Kogpu was sentenced to imprisonment in the Verkhneuralsk political isolation ward. After serving his sentence he was in exile for 3 years. In 1937 he lived in Voronezh in the “minus”, worked as an economist-planner at the Voronezh sewing workshop for individual profit of the Light Industry Administration; arrested 07/16/1937; sentenced on November 15, 1937 by the Troika UNKVD for the Voronezh region under Article 58-2, 8, 10, Part 1, 11 to 10 years in prison; served in Oryol prison. Sentenced by the Special Troika under the NKVD in the Oryol region on 02/15/1938 for counter-revolutionary agitation among prisoners to VMN. Rehabilitated in the 1926 case by the Prosecutor's Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region on 03/01/1993; in the case of 1937 - VT Voronezh Military District 03/21/1957.
