In 1938 he was arrested under Art. 58-10 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR, declared insane.
Arrested on April 18, 1963 by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Leningrad Region. By the verdict of the Leningrad City Court dated November 22, 1963, he was convicted under Art. 196 Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 6 months in prison, under Part 1 of Art. 196 - by 1 year. Under the amnesty of November 1, 1957, he was released from serving his sentence. According to Art. 195 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR - to 6 months in prison, under Art. 228 – to 3 years in prison, under Art. 70 Part 1 and 72 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR and on the basis of Art. 40 - punishment in the form of 7 years of imprisonment in a strict regime correctional labor camp. By a resolution of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated March 3, 1993, the verdict under Article 70 Part 1 and 72 was canceled and the case was dismissed. Based on the totality of crimes under Art. Art. 195 parts 1 and 228, the punishment is 3 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. To serve his sentence, he was sent to the correctional labor camp in the village of Yavas, Zubovo-Polyansky district, Mordovian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
