Sentenced by the Leningrad City Court on February 21, 1975 under Art. 70 part 1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years probation. The trial was covered by the samizdat Chronicle of Current Events. The authorities allowed him to travel to the West. Since 1975 - in exile in France. Died in Paris on April 24, 2021.
