In 1937 he lived in Leningrad, deputy editor of the newspaper “On Guard.” Arrested on December 1, 1937. Sentenced by the Supreme Court of the USSR Armed Forces on September 23, 1938 under Art. 17-58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR to 5 years of labor camp. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on 07/09/1955.
