Born in 1902 in the village of Rodnegino, Roslavl district, Smolensk region; secondary education; member of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) since 1919; one of the organizers of the Komsomol. From 1924 to 1928 - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League, candidate for membership in the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) (1924-34). Member of the Central Executive Committee and the All-Union Central Executive Committee of the USSR (1924-1928). From 1933 - Head of the Political Department of the Kirov Railway, member of the Council of the People's Commissariat of Railways. Awarded the Order of Lenin (4 April 1936). In 1937 he was transferred to the post of Head of the South-Eastern Railway. Candidate for membership in the Voronezh Regional Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). Arrested on 28 June 1937. Sentenced to capital punishment by the visiting session of the Supreme Court of the USSR in Leningrad on September 22, 1938 under Articles 58-7, 58-8, 58-11. Executed on September 23, 1938. Rehabilitated in 1955.
