Genus. in 1936 in the village. Phosphorite Kursk region. Graduated from med. technical school, then honey. Institute, worked in the sanatorium Pushcha Voditsa. Arrested on January 13, 1972 in the “Ukrainian Messenger” case. Sent to the Institute. Serbian for examination. He went on a hunger strike there, protesting against the rough treatment of the sick. Recognized as sick, diagnosed with schizophrenia with persecution mania. On November 13, 1972, the Kiev Regional Court declared him “periodically” insane and decided to send him for compulsory treatment in St. Petersburg, and after recovery, to judge him as sane. Sent to the Dnepropetrovsk Special Psychiatric Hospital. In April 1974, it was subjected to a new examination. In September 1976 he was transferred to Kazan St. Petersburg. 04/06/1978 The Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR allowed transfer to a general regime mental hospital. Transferred to a mental hospital in the village. Smila, Cherkasy region. 03/05/1979 the medical commission recommends discharge. 08/16/1979 The Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR approves the decision of the Cherkasy Regional Court to continue compulsory treatment. In November 1980 he was brought to the Institute. Serbsky, 03/05/1981 was discharged from the Cherkassy hospital. As a result of the beating on 04/08/1981 in Kyiv, he spent about a month in the hospital (his ribs and transverse processes of the pelvic vertebrae were broken). I couldn’t get a job in Kyiv or the region. Sent to advanced training courses at the regional TB dispensary in Cherkassy. I settled in a hostel on the outskirts of the city. 09/06/1981 arrested on trumped-up charges. On September 30, 1981 he was taken to the Cherkassy mental hospital. A psychiatric examination found him sane. 12/30/1981 brought to Moscow to the Institute named after. Serbsky, where he was also found sane. In April 1982 he was sentenced to 4 years in prison. He was held in the Voroshilovgrad region. (now Lugansk). Since April 1984 - in the so-called “chemistry”, he worked as a concrete worker, mason and slinger on the construction of a hospital in Lugansk. In June 1984, he was released on parole and worked for 2 years at the Lugansk TB dispensary as a phthisiatrician. Since May 1989, he worked in Kyiv as a doctor at the city tuberculosis hospital. Since 1991 - member of the Ukrainian Committee "Helsinki-90", member of the All-Ukrainian Society of Political Prisoners and Repressed Persons. Died on 02/05/2015 in Kyiv.
