Genus. in 1954 in Odessa, Ukrainian SSR; Russian; higher education, graduated from the Faculty of Physics of Odessa University in 1976; physicist. Lived in Kyiv.Arrested on September 17, 1982 for anti-Soviet activities. Sentenced by the Kyiv City Court on 03/03/1983 under Article 62 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 7 years in prison and 5 years in exile. She served her sentence in Dubravlaga. The years spent in a maximum security women's colony for “especially dangerous state criminals” in Mordovia are described in the autobiographical book “Gray is the Color of Hope.” By decree of the PVS of the USSR dated October 4, 1986, she was pardoned. Released 10/09/1986. Rehabilitated on July 19, 1991 by the Prosecutor's Office of the Ukrainian SSR No. 13-76 n/s on the basis. Art. 1 of the Law of the Ukrainian SSR "On the rehabilitation of victims of political repression in Ukraine" dated April 17, 1991. On May 14, 1987, together with her husband, she was deprived of Soviet citizenship (returned on August 15, 1990). Since 1998 she has lived in Moscow. She died on July 5, 2017.
