Balanovsky Innokenty Andreevich

Genus. 11/14/1885 in Cherkassy, Kyiv region; Russian; Higher education: graduated from the Imperial St. Petersburg University (1910). He worked as the head of the astrophysics sector at the Pulkovo Observatory. Lived in the village. Pulkovo, Leningrad region. Arrested on November 6, 1936 by the NKVD in the Leningrad Region, charged under Art. 58-8 and 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR. Sentenced by the visiting session of the Supreme Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces on May 25, 1937 to 10 labor camps. According to unverified data, he died in prison near Orel in 1938 or 1939. Rehabilitated by the decision of the Supreme Commander of the USSR Armed Forces dated December 3, 1957.
