Physicist, electrical prospecting theorist, professor (Physical and Technical Institute, Pedagogical Institute, Leningrad State University), consultant to Geolkom. Lived in Moscow. Arrested on April 21, 1936, charged under Art. 58-10, 58-11 (geophysical branch of the “Pulkovo case”). Sentenced on May 25, 1937 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to 10 years in labor camp and 5 years of disqualification, with confiscation of property. Sent to Taishet, in 1938 transferred to Oryol prison, in the fall of 1940 transferred to Ukhtizhemlag. Died in Gorky in a prison hospital in 1943. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces 0 December 8, 1956.
