Genus. in 1885 in Nizhny Novgorod; higher education. Physicist, electrical prospecting theorist, professor (Physical and Technical Institute, Pedagogical Institute, Leningrad State University), consultant to Geolkom. Lived in Moscow. Arrested on April 21, 1936, charged under Art. 58-10, 58-11 (geophysical branch of the “Pulkovo case”). Sentenced on May 25, 1937 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR to 10 years in labor camp and 5 years of disqualification, with confiscation of property. Sent to Taishet, in 1938 transferred to Oryol prison, in the fall of 1940 transferred to Ukhtizhemlag. Died in Gorky in a prison hospital in 1943. Rehabilitated by the Military Commissariat of the USSR Armed Forces 0 December 8, 1956.
