Genus. 05/21/1893 in the village. Russian Grabovets (formerly Austria-Hungary); Ukrainian, from peasants (according to other sources, from the family of a teacher); higher education; scientist; member of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (CHR), member of the CPSU(b). He studied at the Uzhgorod Teachers' Seminary and worked as a teacher. In 1915 he served in the Austrian army and was captured by the Russians. In 1917 he joined the Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks) and volunteered for the Red Army. In 1918 he studied at the Moscow School of Propagandists and was sent to Budapest. One of the organizers and leaders of the International Socialist Party of Transcarpathian Rus'. Member of the CPC from 1921, until 1924 secretary of the Transcarpathian regional organization of the CPC; in 1924–1929 he represented the party in the Czechoslovak parliament. In 1925, delegate to the IX Congress of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Ukraine. Since 1928, member of the international control commission of the Executive Committee of the Comintern, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. Political emigrant, in the USSR since 1930. Before his arrest, he lived in Kharkov, a graduate student at the Institute of History of the All-Ukrainian Association of Marxist-Leninist Research Institutes. Worked as a journalist. Arrested on November 3, 1933 in the “Ukrainian Military Organization” case. Sentenced by the judicial troika at the Collegium of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR under Art. 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 5 years of labor camp. Imprisoned in Dmitlag, Svirlag and Solovki. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated November 25, 1937, he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on December 8, 1937 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated 07/30/1957 by the Military Tribunal of the Kyiv Military District
