Genus. 03/01/1894 in the village. Wilka Mazowiecka Rava-Russkie env. Galicia (modern Lviv region of Ukraine); Ukrainian; higher education; member of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) until 1929. During the 1st World War he served in the Austrian army, second lieutenant. In 1919 he emigrated to Czechoslovakia and accepted Czechoslovak citizenship. During the years of emigration, the secretary was former. Chairman of the Directory V.K. Vinnichenko. Received legal, philosophical and diplomatic education at the universities of Krakow, Vienna and Prague (Charles University). Worked as a lawyer. Since 1924 member of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. In 1926 he was deprived of citizenship of the Czechoslovak Republic and moved to the Ukrainian SSR. He worked in the State Planning Committee, in 1927–1930 the scientific secretary of the People's Commissariat for Education. In 1931–1933 head. the sector of foreign dictionaries of the publishing house “Ukrainian Encyclopedia”; at the same time professor of world history at the Communist University. Artem and a number of other Kharkov universities. Lived in Kharkov. Arrested on 02/19/1933 in the case of the “Ukrainian Military Organization”. By a resolution of the judicial troika at the Collegium of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR dated September 23, 1933, he was sentenced under Art. 54-2, 4, 6, 8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years of labor camp. In custody in the Verkhneuralsk political isolation ward, then in Solovki. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on February 18, 1959 by the Military Tribunal of the Kyiv Military District.
