Genus. in 1895 in the village. Chishki Zolochevsky u. (Galicia); Ukrainian; from peasants; secondary education; employee; member of the Communist Party of Western Ukraine in 1920–1925; member of the Communist Party (b)U in 1925–1933. Served in the Austrian army, lieutenant. In 1922–1927, Secretary of the USSR Embassy in Poland. Returned to the Ukrainian SSR, lived in Kharkov (address before arrest: Sadovo-Kulikovskaya St., 7). In 1927–1932 he was a member of the Board of the publishing house “Literature and Art”, and from 1932 he was the head of Obllit. Arrested 05.05. (according to other data, 04.29.) 1933 in the case of the “Ukrainian Military Organization”. Sentenced on 10/01/1933 by the judicial troika at the Collegium of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR under Art. 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years in labor camp. Imprisoned in Svirlag (arrived 11/02/1933) and Solovki. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated on April 4, 1957 by the Presidium of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court.
