Forestry engineer
Genus. in 1896 in the village. Igrovitsa Ternopil region (Galicia); Ukrainian; from peasants; higher education, forestry engineer; member of the Communist Party of Western Ukraine in 1921–1926; candidate member of the Communist Party of Ukraine (Bolsheviks) since 1930. Former non-commissioned officer in the Galician army. He graduated from the forestry department of the Polytechnic Institute in Prague and was a student at the Ukrainian Free University. Arrived in the USSR in 1927. Forestry specialist, Art. Referent of the labor economics and personnel sector of the Ukrainian Forestry Agency. Before his arrest, he lived in Kharkov (Grekovskaya St., 58). Arrested on December 31, 1932 in the “Ukrainian Military Organization” case. Sentenced on 10/01/1933 by the judicial troika at the Collegium of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR under Art. 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years in labor camp. In custody in the 4th department of the Belbaltlag (he worked as an assistant to the director of the Segezha timber mill) and in Solovki, he was kept on a business trip to Isakovo. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated in party terms on April 17, 1991 by a resolution of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
