Tsirekidze Yury Grigorievich

Definition: The prisoner, an agent of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, tortured his cellmates on the orders of the leadership.
Reproduction methods:
Previously convicted multiple times for various crimes. The bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs kept him and Usupyan V. in pre-trial detention for years, did not send them to the camp, and the investigators used them in their work, in particular, to extract evidence from prisoners placed in special building No. 2 in the Pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Tbilisi. There is a special building No. 2. In April 1975, the People's Court of the Kirovsky District of Tbilisi considered case No. 2254 on charges of prisoners Tsirekidze Yu.G. and Valiko Usupyan that on 10/24/1973 they fatally beat the prisoner N.U. Ismailov, as a result of which Ismayilov died on 10/27/1973. For three days after the beating, no help was provided to Ismailov. The defendants were charged under Article 110, part 2 of the Criminal Code of the GSSR ("Deliberate grievous bodily injury") and under Article 129, part 2 of the Criminal Code of the GSSR ("Left in danger"). The trial took place in the club of the Detention Facility No. 1 in Tbilisi.
Defendants Tsirekidze and Usupyan were sentenced to 6 years in a strict regime.
