Genus. 13 (26). 05.1902 in the village. Vasilievka Vinnytskogo u. Podolsk province; Ukrainian, peasant, higher education, employee. He graduated from the Vinnitsa Ukrainian Gymnasium (1920), worked as a teacher. He collaborated with the local press and published since 1919. In 1924–1926 he served in the Iron Division, then returned to teaching. He worked as an instructor of fine arts at the 1st Vinnytsia Labor School named after. Kotsyubinsky. At the same time, since October 1926, he was a researcher at the Vinnytsia Museum of Local Lore. In 1930 he graduated from the correspondence department of the Kharkov Institute of Vocational Education (literary and linguistic faculty). Lived in Vinnitsa (Bestuzhev St., 26; according to other sources, Volodarskogo St., 6). Arrested on June 19, 1933 in the “Ukrainian Military Organization” case. Sentenced on October 27, 1933 by the troika of the Collegium of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR under Art. 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years in labor camp. While imprisoned on Solovki, he was at the Kremlin camp and worked on agricultural work. (In the camp with N. was his young son, who was allowed to live in the same cell with his father; in June 1937 the child was sent to the mainland.) By a resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated November 25, 1937, he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on December 8, 1937 in Leningrad. In the case of 1933, he was rehabilitated on September 3, 1960 by the Judicial Collegium of the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR
