Genus. in 1898 in the village of Snezhnaya, Novopavlovsk parish. Regions of the Don Army; Ukrainian; from peasants; higher education; teacher, journalist; non-partisan. He spent his childhood in the village. Petropavlovka, Amur region. He graduated from the Blagoveshchensk Pedagogical College (1915) and the Leningrad Teachers' Institute (1924). Published since 1917. Since 1926 he lived in Kyiv, collaborated with gas. “To replace”, magazine. “Chervoniy Shlyakh” and others. In 1930 he changed his name to Snizhny (Snezhny). Author of books and poet. Sat. “Machinist Petrik” (1930), “Kitaychatko Tao” (1931), “Turning the Edge” (1931), “Rocket” (1933). Before his arrest, a teacher at a pedagogical college in the locality. Gorodnya, Chernigov region. Arrested on June 23, 1935 in Kyiv, accused of participating in a “c/r terrorist organization.” Sentenced on October 22, 1935 by the Military Tribunal of the Kyiv Military District under Art. 54-2, 8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years of labor camp. In custody in the Karaganda ITL (arrived on 02/09/1936), then in Solovki (from October 1936), he was at the Kremlin camp. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated November 10, 1937, he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on December 8, 1937 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated on November 17, 1959 by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR and on September 11, 1989 by the Prosecutor of the Arkhangelsk Region
