Berezovsky Grigory Andreevich
Genus. in 1900 in the village. Kidrasovka, Bershad district of the Ukrainian SSR; Ukrainian; from peasants (according to other sources, from the family of a landowner in Podolsk province); primary education; turner; member of the CPSU (b) in 1920–1922; non-party member before arrest. During the Civil War he served as a battalion commander at Petlyura. In 1919–1924 he served in the Red Army. In 1929 he worked as a metal turner at the plant named after. Ilyich (Mariupol). Arrested 02/28/1930. Sentenced on September 20, 1930 by the judicial troika of the GPU of the Ukrainian SSR under Art. 54-2 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years in a concentration camp. He served his sentence in the Ust-Vym ITL (arrived on September 21, 1931), then in the 6th department of the Belbaltlag. In September 1932 he was accused of participating in a “rebel militant group with the aim of organizing an armed uprising in the camp.” By resolution of the OGPU Collegium dated March 22, 1933, he was sentenced to 1 year in prison and sent to the Solovetsky camp. In 1934 he was kept at the Kremlin camp. In the fall of 1937 he was kept in Solovetsky prison. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated November 10, 1937, he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on December 8, 1937 in Leningrad. Rehabilitated on November 30, 1989 by the Prosecutor's Office of the Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic
