Genus. in 1879 in the village. Popovshchina of Romensky district of Poltava province; Ukrainian; higher education; non-partisan. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Kyiv University. Formerly a social democrat; vice-director of the medical department of the Ministry of Health under Hetman Skoropadsky, director of the department of the same ministry under the Directory. In 1918, one of the organizers of the All-Ukrainian Society of Doctors, worked in the Ukrainian Red Cross. Since 1924 Art. assistant at the Kyiv Medical Institute; At the same time he worked in the Medical Section of the VUAN, and from March 1929 he was a member of its Presidium. Arrested 18(17). 08.1929 in Kyiv in the case of “Spilki liberation of Ukraine”. Sentenced on April 19, 1930 by the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR under Art. 54-2.11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 8 years in prison. In custody in the Yaroslavl political prison and on Solovki; was kept in the Savvatyevo special detention center, was in charge of the medical department (according to other sources, he consulted in the medical unit of the camp, where he was brought under escort). By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated in the 1930 case on August 11, 1989 by the decision of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR.
