Polishchuk Valeryan Lvovich
Genus. in 1897 in the village. Bilche Boromel parish. Dubensky U. Volyn province (modern Mlynovsky district, Rivne region); Ukrainian; from peasants; higher education (according to other sources, incomplete higher education); writer; non-partisan. He studied at the Petrograd Institute of Civil Engineers, then at the Faculty of History and Philology of Kamenets-Podolsk Ukrainian University. In 1919–1920 - member of the Ukrainian Party of Socialist Revolutionaries (Borotbists). Published since 1918 as a poet, prose writer, critic and literary theorist; author of more than 50 books. From 1921 he lived in Kharkov, worked in newspapers and literary magazines. He was a member of the Union of Ukrainian Proletarian Writers “Hart”. In 1925 he founded the modernist group of writers “Vanguard”, ch. editor of the Avangard magazine. Arrested on December 6, 1934 in the case of the Borotbist counter-revolutionary organization. Sentenced on March 27–28, 1935 by a visiting session of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR under Art. Art. 54-8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. Imprisoned in Solovki (arrived on 05/08/1935), in August 1937 he was in Solovetsky prison. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated in the case of 1935 on 08/04/1956 by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR, in the case of 1937 - on 11/12/1962 by the Military Tribunal of the Leningrad Military District.
