Palamarchuk Alexey Timofeevich
Doctor, artist
Born in 1895 in the town of Khmelnik, Litinsky district. Podolsk province; Ukrainian; from peasants; higher education; non-partisan. He received a higher medical education and an incomplete higher theater education. Served in the tsarist army as a telegraph operator, Art. non-commissioned officer; then in the military guard team of the Petlyura troops, sub-sergeant. Actor of the Revolution Theater (Kharkov), then of the All-Ukrainian House of the Red Army. Lived in Kyiv. Unemployed before arrest. Arrested on 07/08/1935 on charges of participation in a “k/r terrorist group”. Sentenced on October 22, 1935 by the Military Tribunal of the Kyiv Military District under Art. Art. 54-8, 11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to 10 years in labor camp. By the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR dated November 20, 1935, the verdict was left unchanged. While imprisoned in Solovki, he took part in productions of the camp theater. By resolution of the Special Troika of the UNKVD LO dated 10/09/1937 he was sentenced to VMN. Shot on November 3, 1937 in the Sandormokh tract (Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic). Rehabilitated in the 1935 case on November 17, 1959 by the ruling of the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR
